Hohner is proud to introduce
our latest innovation, the HSS-HK stitching system for Muller Martini, Osako and
Purlux saddle stitchers. Bindery departments continue to strive for reductions
in set-up times, maintenance intervals, spare parts inventories, and training
requirements, all of which the HSS-HK addresses by completely rethinking
stitching head design and future requirements of the most demanding customers.

Minimum center to center
distance: 40mm (1.58 in.) is the lowest in the world.

Electronic wire feed unit
can be mounted remotely (up to 3 feet away from heads) or directly next to
stitching heads.

Wire length accuracy is
within 0.1 mm (0.004 inches) as adjusting via push button.

Simple threading of wire
via push button.

Crown width: 12,7mm (0.50
in.).

Leg length adjustment
requires no tools and is accomplished via thumb wheel.

Patent pending frame
design guarantees the frame to be wear proof.

Drive units offered in 2,
4 and 6 head configurations.
Savings
A patent pending wire cutting
system combined with a totally new supporter design and reduced crown width
guarantees a minimum 30% reduction in wire consumption (weight based
calculation). This significant reduction in weight equals shipping / postal
savings as well as wire cost savings.
Stitching head can be
completely disassembled in less than 5 minutes since wire is fed via stepper
motor driven gear box. The result is extremely reduced complexity of the
stitching heads.
